Yamaha Stratoliner description

Star's Stratoliner Deluxe is an upgraded, touring-savvy version of the Stratoliner light touring rig (itself a cruiser on steroids). THIS IS A 1900 Cruising Machine.. The Bat Wing fairing has speakers and a Tunage Device hookup and Storage for Device. Music is controlled via a quartet of buttons above the left grip, which is simple and effective, but I converted to the Blue-tooth headset in Helmet. The Deluxe also sports larger bags than the standard Strat And Plenty of Storage.

I love this Bike.. It’s a monster mill, 1854cc to be exact, a big pushrod-operated 48-degree V-Twin with 3.94-inch pistons plunging at a 4.64-inch stroke. Crack the throttle and the Stratoliner Deluxe pulls instantly thanks to its twin-bore electronic fuel injection that’s dialed in. This Model churned out 111 lb-ft of torque at only 2300 rpm on The dyno. It’s efficient and powerful thanks to tech gleaned from Yamaha’s sportbikes, including forged oil-cooled pistons and ceramic-composite plated cylinders. Other Great Features include its smooth-shifting five-speed gearbox and powerful brakes, highlighted by dual 298mm discs on the front paired to monoblock calipers. Comfortable Cruiser.

IN Cruiser Magazine.. they Compared the Strat Deluxe to the Victory and Harley..  "But for pure engine performance, the Star whoops the other two, with both more power and torque, from bottom to top. Riders who like a nice "jump" off the line or while passing a car will love the Star's power delivery at all RPMs"  Tis why I own one.. and again.. am selling this one to finalize purchase of New ONE.

More Quotes.... "Backroad riding had us rowing through the gears more, except on the Star, thanks to its impressive 113-inch mill and omnipresent power. Ironically, the Stratoliner also shifted the best, beating out the clunky (but precise) Glide. The 2011 Cross Country brings a significantly revised transmission, but ours still felt balky on occasion. The brakes of the Victory, while very stout, were also outclassed by the ABS-assisted Brembos on the Street Glide and the progressive and powerful binders of the 'Deluxe."  Bottom line.. the Reason I purchased.. More Power.. Better Handling and it Fit me Puuurfect...

I will assist in shipping. Bike is ready to roll.. adding miles daily. Buyer is responsible for all ebay and pay pal fees.  500$ due immediately on winning bid.. will negotiate finals in purchase..  feel free to ask any Questions..

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

Yamaha R6 to Continue Racing in Supersport Next Generation Category

Mon, 17 Jan 2022

No R6 replacement for the near future Last month, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) provided the first look at the new “ Supersport Next Generation” models that will redefine middleweight racing class. Starting with the 2022 season, the World Supersport class (and their equivalents in various national racing series such as MotoAmerica) will add new models such as the Ducati Panigale V2, MV Agusta F3 800, MV Agusta F3 Superveloce, Triumph Street Triple RS, Suzuki GSX-R750, and the 636cc Kawasaki ZX-6R. The primarily 600cc models that previously represented the class will continue for one more season, before the Supersport Next Generation models take over completely in 2023.

Valentino Rossi Test Drives Kyle Busch’s NASCAR Toyota Camry

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte  Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.
