Yamaha Stratoliner description

I have a 2009 Yahama Stratoliner for sale. This has been a great bike since I got it new in 2009. I have put each of the 16500 mile on personally. It has an easily removable backrest and windshield. I did put aftermarket exhaust on the bike but will include the original.

Cardboard Yamaha R1

Tue, 01 May 2012

I'm partial to a bit of origami and have been frustratingly screwing up paper trying to master Yamaha's paper craft series for a while now. You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach.  The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive.  Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
