Yamaha Stratoliner description

You are bidding on a Mint 2006 Yamaha Stratoliner S with optional luggage rack and front sissy bar. This is owned by a 70 year old man. It has always been serviced.  The bike looks and goes as new. Always garage kept. There is not a better one to be had. The tires will pass inspection, however I am including two brand new Bridgestone Exedra G850 and G851 tires, and a bike cover. This is the nicest touring bike I have owned. The "only" reason I am selling it is because it's time to go to 3 wheels. You will not be disappointed in this bike. You can't get a better ride for the money!

Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.

An Island tour with a legend

What you are watching is a highlight of Mike Hailwood's segment from the racing documentary Take it to the Limit - A Motorcycle Odyssey. The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within. The voice-over recording provided by Hailwood was done by taping a small mic to the bottom of his lip so he could dictate his guide to the 37.73 mile route.
