Excellent Condition. Many extras including ISO grips and Highway Pegs. LED front turn signals. LED rear turn signals. LED brake light. All with smoked lenses. Harley slip on mufflers for nice low rumble exhaust sound. Passing lamps. Brand new rear tire and Brake pads. New battery this spring. Synthetic Oil. Adult owned and ridden. Always in garage with cover when not in use. Couple small paint chips on front fender and 1 on right side of tank.(see pics)

Yamaha Customer Information Leaked – Personal Data for 607 Japanese Customers Compromised

Yamaha has confirmed the personal information of 607 customers in Japan was leaked to a third party. According to Yamaha, personal information for recall and product improvement measures was leaked byYamaha Motorcycle Sales Japan Co., the manufacturer’s domestic group company. The information including names, mailing addresses, vehicle names and VIN, and dealership information for 607 customer accounts in the Aichi, Fukuoka and Kagoshima prefectures were received by an anonymous third party via fax on Nov.

Yamaha Motor USA to Swallow Up Yamaha Canada

Yamaha’s board of directors has voted in transfer all shares of its Canadian subsidiary to its American subsidiary, a move which would give Yamaha Motor U.S.A. responsibility over the entire North American market. The proposed transfer, set to begin in December,  will make Yamaha Motor Canada a subsidiary of its American counterpart.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
