2007 Yamaha Royal Star VENTURE, Up for sale is my 2007 Royal Star Venture. New tires in late summer of 2012. Everything works as it should - CB, Radio, Aux In, Cruise Control. Bike is a joy and comfort to ride. Would not hesitate to take it cross-country tomorrow. Extras include custom paint (Harley Red Sunglo) matching grips, BUB exhaust, Baron Tach, Baron risers (not installed)highway pegs, saddle bag chrome guards, visors on all lights, extra rear lighting, chrome fender tips and front fender chrome guard. Yamaha Officially Announces Monster Energy Sponsorship
Tue, 08 Jan 2013As we reported in December, energy drink producer Monster Energy has signed a sponsorship agreement with Yamaha‘s factory MotoGP program, putting its brand on the Yamaha YZR-M1 race bikes, team clothing and equipment, as well as riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Monster Energy already had a personal sponsorship deal with Rossi but the company will now also sponsor Lorenzo. The reigning MotoGP Champion had previously had a sponsorship arrangement with rival energy drink company RockStar, but Yamaha exercised a clause in its contract with Lorenzo allowing a buy out of the RockStar deal as it conflicts with the team’s sponsor.
2013 Yamaha XT250 Receives Fuel Injection
Thu, 07 Jun 2012The Yamaha XT250 dual sport is getting a fuel injection system for the 2013 model year, replacing the previous model’s 33mm Teikei carburetor. Apart from fuel injection and new graphics, the only other changes are a new TCI ignition system in place of the 2012 model’s CDI ignition, and a slightly larger gas tank (2.6 gallons versus 2.4 gallons on last year’s model). The 249cc air-cooled SOHC engine and five-speed transmission remains unchanged.
46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
