Yamaha Road Star description
If you're looking for a Road Star Warrior or muscle cruiser, this is the 1 to buy. If you're not familiar with this trend setting bike, take a look at rswarrior dot com. Back in 2002, if you wanted a muscle cruiser it was either this bike or a V-Rod. Today, there are plenty of different options....however, few are air-cooled pushrod V-twins. None, other than the Yamaha Warrior, have R1 derived inverted forks, R1 dual piston-dual disc brakes or an all aluminum frame & swing arm. Weighing in at just over 600lbs, this bike puts many other muscle cruisers to shame from a performance and design perspective. Not your typical cruiser and with minimal yet tasteful chrome, the bike gets amazing compliments. We hate to sell it, but with 2 young boys and a 3rd child on the way, it's time to buy a boat instead of pampering this toy any longer! Always maintained at Yamaha dealer and serviced with fully synthetic oil. Bike operates flawless and looks amazing. -8944 mis and I am the original owner -Recent Interstate battery with warranty (12 mons old) -Brand new front tire -Less than 500mis on Dunlop rear tire -Legends Forward Controls -Patrick Racing High-Compression Pistons -Patrick Racing Big-Air Kit -Dynojet Power Commander w/Dynojet fuel mapping (graph shows 96hp & 124 feet/lb torque) -Small sissy bar -Speedstar Air Intage -Speedstar Swept Bar and Billet Risers -Vance & Hines Pro-Pipe -LED Taillight w/integrated blinkers -Flat black Icon helmet (LG) and Yamaha textile riding jacket (XL) -Pink/White/Black Women's Icon Helmet & Matching Jacket

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet
Tue, 20 Jul 2010RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
Is A New Yamaha R1 Coming for 2023?
Mon, 20 Jun 2022FIM approves track-only YZF1000W model A recently updated list of FIM-approved competition vehicles indicates that a new track-only Yamaha YZF-R1 is on the way for the 2023 model year. And if this is true, then we may also expect a significantly updated street legal 2023 R1 too. The International Motorcycling Federation maintains a spreadsheet titled “FIM Recognized Competition Vehicles” that includes approved racing-only models.
One man who didn't want to be watching the Sachsenring MotoGP
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Jorge Lorenzo posted this picture on his Twitter feed on Sunday. Yamaha's No.1 rider had to watch Sunday's MotoGP from his apartment. Despite Crutchlow reckoning Sunday's race result would have been the same even with Pedrosa and Lorenzo on the grid, I reckon Lorenzo would have had something to say about that.
