2009 Yamaha Road Star Warrior Cruiser. This silver bike was bought brand new off the showroom floor in June 2011. It is in perfect condition with extremely low mileage, less than 1,000. It is not even broken in yet.This bike is priced this low due to the fact I need to sell it NOW. I can supply actual images , however it is in perfect condition. It has the low-end muscle of a cruiser and combined it with the handling and maneuverability of a sport bike. In fact, the suspension is derived from our championship-bred YZF-R1, and the engine is wrapped in a high-tech aluminum chassis. This bike is priced this low due to the fact I need to sell it NOW. The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) has named Dennis McNeal as the new chair of its board of directors. McNeal, the vice president of motorcycle operations for Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A., will take over the chairman position from Mark Blackwell, the retiring vice president of Polaris Industries.

Yamaha Patents Tricity Variant Design

Yamaha has patented the design for a new variant to its Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter featuring a broader fairing resembling the TMax. Yamaha has previously announced it would introduce more leaning multi-wheeled vehicles, and this newly patented design may be the next one to go into production. The new design is heavily-based on the original Tricity.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
