Surrounded by lustrous onyx lacquer, this bike makes a statement wherever it goes. It sports all the new Road Star features, including redesigned valve system, camshafts, rocker arms, air induction system, cooling fins and a beefed up clutch. Also, there's an all-new lightweight and high-strength final drive belt for long life, quiet operation and better accelration. All-new brakes featuring dual 298mm front disc brakes and 320mm single disc rear brake for strong stopping power. Short and long range rider comfort is supreme thanks to wide, swept-back, 1"-diameter, rubber-mounted handlebars, restyled touring rider seat that's 40mm wider, a reshaped passenger seat and full-size floating-type rider floorboards with new rubber inserts. Blacked-out engine with polished fins and studded rider and passenger seats create a unique look among Road Star models. And, with its beefy, chromed front end , sculpted steel fenders and all-new 16" cast wheels , no other cruiser does it so elegantly. Tommy Hayden Signs with YES Graves Yamaha for Remainder of 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike Season
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Tommy Hayden has signed on to race the remainder of the 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike season with Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha after joining the team as a substitute for the injured Garrett Gerloff. Hayden joined the YES Graves Yamaha team as a last-minute replacement after Gerloff got injured in the first practice of the Daytona 200. While Gerloff continued his recovery from a broken femur suffered in the high side crash at Daytona International Speedway, Hayden has raced his way to fourth overall in the championship standings after five rounds with two podium appearances.

The Althea Ducati rider secured the title with a win in Race One of the Oct. 2 Magny-Cours round in France, and then captured the manufacturer title with another win in Race Two.
