Yamaha Road Star description

2003 Yamaha Road Star Warrior - original owner, runs great.

The comfort of a cruiser, the style of a custom street rod, and handling of a sport tourer.

I bought this bike new in March of 2003. It has always been maintained to Yamaha standards & intervals. The RS Warrior, and specifically the Yamaha large V-twins are known for being some of the longest-lasting bikes on the road, with 200,000 miles not being uncommon.

The Road Star Warrior takes the cruiser's low-end muscle and combines it with the handling and maneuverability of a larger sport bike. In fact, the suspension is derived from Yamaha's championship-bred YZF-R1, and the engine is wrapped in a high-tech aluminum chassis.

The Road Star Warrior offers a significant level of power and performance. It is not intended for novice or inexperienced riders.

New rear tire, new starter, belt recently replaced, registered through March of 2017.
This bike is stock, except for the T-bars, some cover upgrades, and the extended passenger pegs.

Licensed Riders only, test ride only with Cash-in-hand. No Shipping.

Bike also for sale locally.

If you haven’t yet, read up on the recap for the Qatar MotoGP race for the details on what transpired at Losail International Circuit in Doha. Here then are some of the (mostly spoiler-free) photographs from the Grand Prix of Qatar, including images from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

My Cadburys Boost YZF 750 comes back to life.

Sat, 01 Sep 2012

After winning my 3rd BSB title in 1998, as an end of season bonus, Yamaha UK kindly handed over my beloved Cadburys Boost YZF 750. There were three of these ex factory bikes in Rob Mac’s team; one went to me, the big man still has one, and the third was sold for a sum that was never disclosed. I had three cracking years on this special machine battling against team mates Whitham, Walker and Hislop and breaking most lap records along the way. The hard charging Bayliss, Reynolds and Rymer were also thrown into the mix on occasions just to make life even more interesting.

2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 Recalled for Fuel Pump Problem

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

Yamaha is initiating a recall on the 2009 Zuma 125 scooter due to an issue with its fuel pump. The recall campaign affects 8,700 units produced between July 2008 and April 2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there may not be the proper clearance in internal fuel pump components, potentially causing an inadequate supply of fuel.
