2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

This weekend’s Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix will be Colin Edwards’ final MotoGP race on American soil, and to commemorate the occasion, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., invites you to join a special “Farewell To The Texas Tornado” live event Saturday evening on the center stage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Yamaha Tests New Engine Spec at Sepang

Yamaha MotoGP riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies tested new engine specifications for their YZR-M1 prototypes on the first day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Wet conditions limited track time in the afternoon but Yamaha was able to get some data on the engine in the morning. Yamaha also worked on finding a solution to front end chatter problems.
