This motorcyle, a 2002 Yamaha PW 80, is perfect for young kids that are between 60 and 100 pounds. Purchased from original owner with clear title. I never took assignment of the title but original owner signed and date is blank, ready for you to transfer. The motorcycle was a hit with my son, now 13, when he was younger. It is now time to move it out of the garage as it doesn't get any use. The new owner of this motorcylce will need to either provide some elbow grease or take it to a shop for a tune up. I can get it to start but it troubles while under idle. Also throwing in a matching HJC helmet with visor, pair of Thor boots (size 4) and a matching Thor Chest Protector. Yamaha M1 Engines Available for Leasing for 2014-2016 MotoGP Seasons
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Yamaha announced it will offer a leasing arrangement for its YZR-M1 engines to teams interested in racing in the MotoGP World Championship. The Japanese manufacturer has signed a leasing arrangement with MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports to supply engines for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons. Racing teams will be able to lease a Yamaha M1 engine on a per-year basis for their own race bikes.
Yamaha Trademarks Design for Three-Cylinder Sport-Tourer
Mon, 11 Aug 2014Yamaha has registered a trademark for the design of a sport-touring model based on the FZ-09. Filed with European Union’s Office for Harminization in the Internal Market, the trademarked design reveals a brand new model sharing the same frame and engine as the FZ-09 (known in Europe as the MT-09.) Discuss this at our Yamaha FZ-09 Forum. The new model will likely be compete against motorcycles such as the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and a rumored S1000RR-based model from BMW.
