Yamaha Other description

This is a re-listing of my bike from last week. My apologies to those of you that were biding thinking that I would sell my beautiful SRX for substantially less than what I have in it. I am now listing it for a value that I think is reasonable for the money and time invested as well as the quality workmanship needed to complete this project. Yamaha SRX600 SRX-6 Red 1986 86 Super Single Street Bike If you are reading this you probably realize that the SRX600 was a one-year model for the US. Relative unpopularity in 1986 has turned it into a somewhat rare model, especially a low mileage 1 like this. Details are listed below. I bought this bike 2 years ago so all the upgrades and new parts are less than 2yrs old Extremely fun to ride and a real head turner, I hate to see it go! Super Low mileage at just over 15,000 FZR600 Wheels and Brakes with Radial Tires 110/70 R17 Front and 140/60 R18 Rear Tires Tommaselli adjustable Clip-on Handle bars Nissan 4-piston calipers with new pads and the master cylinder has been rebuilt Braided brake lines front and rear Stock rear brake system has been rebuilt as well Front forks, with fork brace, New bushings and seals along with RaceTech cartridge emulators with new springs and fluid see racetech.com for details on the fork upgrade Rear shocks are Ohlins and were professionally rebuilt with all seals, bushings, fluid, and nitrogen re-charge New tapered steering head bearings SuperTrapp slip-on exhaust was with the bike and has some discloration and scrapes in the chrome All red painted parts are New not repainted incl. Fuel Tank, Front Fender, and Rear Seat Cowl Kehin FCR39 single Pumper Carb with y-pipe 2 into 1 and K&N clamp on filter All the following are new parts: Mirrors, Grips, Both Petcocks and Gas Cap, Rubber parts (footpegs, Shift and Brake, Kick start), Sealed Battery with trickle plug, Helmet Lock, LED Taillight and Signals with correct flash rate, many fasteners. Documented 40HP at the rear wheel. (Dyno chart upon request) I really like bikes from the 80's, so I have tried to retain the "flavor" of the original SRX. The wheels, brakes, and carb bring subtle more modern feel, without loosing the beauty of the original bike. I hope you agree. If you have any questions, please let me know. I will try to give you additional info in a timely manner.

Yamaha is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its SR series with a special edition model in Japan. Produced in limited numbers, the 35th Anniversary Edition Yamaha SR400 offers an exclusive leaf green metallic color, special badging and, in an unusual gesture, a lower price than the base model. The original SR500 was introduced in 1978 as a street-focused version of the Yamaha XT500.
