1974 YAMAHA RD250 HAS ABOUT 4K MILES ON IT NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING HASN'T RUN IN YEARS- BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE TOP END IS STUCK- NOT SURE IF ITS GUMMED UP FROM SITTING OR SEIZED. I SPARAYED SOME PENETRATING OIL INTO THE CYLINDERS BUT HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING ELSE TO IT. SO IT MIGHT NEED THE TOP END GONE THRU, FREED UP OR WHATEVER. CARBS NEED TO BE CLEANED AS THE THROTTLE FEELS STUCK. I USUALLY GO THROUGH ALL THIS STUFF BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE TIME THIS MONTH SO ITS GOING AS IS CHEAP. FIX IT UP AND RESELL IT AND MAKE SOME MONEY OR KEEP IT AS THESE THINGS ARE GOING UP IN VALUE MORE AND MORE. ONLY HAS LIKE 4400 mileS ON IT MISSING RIGHT SIDE COVER. ORIGINAL PAINT RIGHT SIDE OF TANK HAS A SMALL DENT- SEE PICS. BACK END OF THE SEAT IS SPLIT- SEE PICS. CLEAN TITLE SHIFTS THROUGH THE GEARS THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT FIXER UPPER FOR SOMEONE INTO THE OLD SCHOOL two STROKES. I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY. Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.

Tue, 06 Nov 2012Yamaha‘s North American sales were up over the first nine months of 2012, representing the lone bright spot in the company’s third quarter report. North American consumers purchased 51,000 Yamaha motorcycles (including scooters and ATVs), for a 13.3% increase from the 45,000 units sold in the opening nine months of 2011. North American sales translated into 30.7 million yen (US$382 million) in revenue for Yamaha, a 15.0% increase from the first three quarters of 2011.
