Up for is is a very nice 1975 Yamaha RD350. The RD runs and rides like new, starts on the first kick, no leaks, every works, lights, turn signals, horn, etc. It has low miles, a little over 4600. Original Paint and decals are nice and bright on the tank and side covers with no dents, but a couple tiny scratches on the tank. The seat is perfect. Most of the chrome is nice but some minor pitting on the front fender. All in all, this is one of the nicest looking and best running original un-restored rd's we've seen. Yamaha Opens New Motorcycle Testing Center
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Yamaha has completed construction of a new test course for developing motorcycles for emerging markets in Kikugawa, Japan. The 121-acre Yamaha Motor Kikukawa Test Course features a 1.18-mile circuit and a mix of multi-purpose roads and mountain terrain. It will be used to develop new motorcycles for Latin America and Asia.
AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
