yamaha chappy 80 motorcycle scooter mini automatic hi low range 600 miles (1976)
For your consideration:unrestored 1976 600 miles on it yamaha chappy 80,bought this cutie 10 years ago, cruised it for a few hundred miles on the weekends, camping, car shows etc.i noticed the tires were starting to dry rot a little(not bad for as old as it is!)and simply stopped driving it.nothing has ever been replaced on this scooter ever other than the battery.it still sports the original tires, chain sprockets, seat etc.nothing has been replaced the tires and tubes even though original still hold air fine and have good tread and can be ridden now(makes sense to put new tires on it if you plan on driving this alot)only issues are one missing mirror, two reflector brackets on tag bracket are cracked off, paint around headlight ears peeled a little, chrome is dingy, not pitted but needs buffing. This ride is not perfect and has a few minor nicks but not bad for its age. This baby is a rider now;no running issues,no shifting problems, put a new battery in it or not goes great the way it is,runs alot faster then my friends chappy 50 and runs away from my other friends honda ruckus.Good luck bidding,Pick-up only, will deliver if you are within a half day away or can meet with agreed upon delivery terms.PAY-PAL must be clear to my bank account or no delivery or pick-up.Or bring the cash.Clear Title.ask questions, dont bid if i am too far away from you.Great rider, collection addition,display?2013-10-23 00:26:23Durango, Colorado, US600749.00

1979 Yamaha Other (1979)
For auction a 1979 Yamaha RD400F-Dayton Special, 400cc two stroke twin, the first and only year the Daytona Special was produced for the U.S.,“The King of the two strokes.” I bought the bike 21 years ago. It is box stock with a few exceptions: Expansion chambers by a previous owner; the kick stand was extended to fit under the pipes; the seat has been reupholstered (and is much more comfortable than the original); the horn needs a new switch: Engine: The bike was thoroughly serviced in September (New plugs, points and condenser; carbs and oil pump sync’ed, carbs cleaned,) and it starts first kick. It pulls and revs hard on the power band and that beautiful two stroke purr when idling. It dyno’ed at 48 HP (Stock is 40HP) . The battery was replaced two years ago. The engine has not been ported or polished. No mods what so ever, save the chambers. Body: The bike is in excellent original condition and the paint looks terrific.2016-06-20 04:51:26Littleton, Colorado, United States1112000

1974 Yamaha Other (1974)
Beautiful 1974 Yamaha RD350A.These are my favorite bikes to restore, and this is my fifth, and I think the prettiest one yet.I bought the bike from its previous owner who had started fixing it up. He had the top end rebuilt and never got any farther, so the pistons, rings and bore are new and has to be broken in.Here's what I've done:The tank has been cleaned and sealed with Caswell, then repainted professionally to as close a match to the original Ruby candy color as possible, I think it looks better, a little less purple. It's a three stage finish.2016-08-17 04:49:42Littleton, Colorado, United States96341

Yamaha R6 to Continue Racing in Supersport Next Generation Category
Mon, 17 Jan 2022No R6 replacement for the near future Last month, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) provided the first look at the new “ Supersport Next Generation” models that will redefine middleweight racing class. Starting with the 2022 season, the World Supersport class (and their equivalents in various national racing series such as MotoAmerica) will add new models such as the Ducati Panigale V2, MV Agusta F3 800, MV Agusta F3 Superveloce, Triumph Street Triple RS, Suzuki GSX-R750, and the 636cc Kawasaki ZX-6R. The primarily 600cc models that previously represented the class will continue for one more season, before the Supersport Next Generation models take over completely in 2023.
Most Anticipated First Rides Of 2022
Thu, 30 Dec 2021A look forward to the year (and rides) to come You’ve read our weeks long tribute to 2021 in the form of the MO Best Of awards. You’ve had your chance to debate the validity of our selection of the Harley-Davidson Pan America as the Motorcycle of the Year. Now that 2021 is almost completely in our rear view mirrors, it’s time to shift our gaze to the future.
Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid Prototype First Look
Tue, 23 Nov 2021Return to sender Well the seat was a little high, at 34.6 inches, but that didn’t stop the Yamaha Ténéré 700 from doing very well in last summer’s blockbuster middleweight ADV comparison. Keeping it simple and keeping the weight down was a great recipe for success, and now Yamaha is fixin’ to take it to the next level with a Ténéré 700 Raid, for which this machine it showed at EICMA serves as prototype. Yamaha Announces MT-10 And MT-10 SP For 2022
Mon, 22 Nov 2021This news should come as a surprise to nobody, but it’s still equally as exciting to finally get the official confirmation: Yamaha is bringing an updated MT-10 to the US. Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.

What's The 2022 Yamaha R7 Like To Ride On The Street?
Wed, 13 Oct 2021The R7 is a barrel of laughs on track, but is it any good on the roads? Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by Paisley Kerr and Sean Matic I make it a point to tell everyone who is willing to listen (and even some who aren’t) how much fun the new Yamaha R7 is. While most people get up in arms about the name of the bike, I’m over here having a blast actually riding the thing, preferably at a race track.

2021 Lightweight Naked Bike Shootout Smackdown Comparo Review
Mon, 27 Sep 2021BMW G310R vs Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 vs Kawasaki Z400 vs KTM Duke 390 vs Yamaha MT-03 You know what they say: It’s more fun to ride a slow motorcycle fast than a fast motorcycle slow. Yet another example of conventional wisdom baloney. It’s actually more fun to ride a fast bike fast, or even a medium-fast one.
2021 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT First Ride - Video
Mon, 20 Sep 2021Trizzle's thoughts, now in video form. Photos by Joseph Agustin | Videos by Ray Gauger and Sean Matic The definition of a sport-touring motorcycle has gotten a bit blurred lately with adventure-touring bikes encroaching on the space. A good bike in either genre agrees that you need to be able to pound out miles and do it in relative comfort.
