A very recent paint job and a complete overhaul/restoration befitting a bike that already logged 25 years in a toy store of a private collector.There is not a speck of dirt on this bike and to my knowledge the only aftermarket parts on this bike are the mirrors.There is a small tiny scrape on the tip of the fender.Evidence of use in a past life.The tachometer is in need of a rebuild but it still functions.Both gauges look great and it is evident that this bike has a few years spent indoors in the air conditioning.The seat appears to be original but i am not sure of this history.There is a small tear at the underside of the seat pan that can,t be seen without raising the seat.No big deal but i want full disclosure.The tool kit is not with this bike.New cables and new brakes were installed and the tires are new as well with less than a hundred miles on them.This bike is too fun to leave sitting.It did get ridden but never enough.The low miles on it is evidence of the limited use of this beautiful gem from our past.There is a small ding on the right side pipe.I will show the ding in the pictures.these pipes have a small spot here and there but you have to hunt to find a flaw on them.they are in great condition and have cleaned up very nice.No rust anywhere on this bike anywhere ever.The frame and engine numbers match for all of you investors and collectors out there.This bike is a very nice example of a rd from our childhoods.It is perfect in my opinion but you need to look for yourself.Ask questions.Everything works.We do not sell garbage! I price them fair.The work is already done on this one.Fly in and ride it home.If you would like more pics or need to talk feel free to contact me.

For sale is my 1972 Yamaha DS7 with an RD350 engine. This project has been a labor of love for several years. I am 57 years old and an enthusiast and I love building as much as riding. It's simply time for a new project. All work, including paint, was completed by me with the exception of crank bearings and bore/hone. As a qualifier, I won MotoGP tickets in a Yamaha USA contest with this bike and First Place Yamaha Restoration for another project at the largest west coast two-stroke event in 2011. The story: Purchased as a runner in rough condition, I began the project with a complete disassemble and cleaning. Then: - Sandblasted and painted frame and brackets with PJ1 gloss black - Replaced forks with â€œForks by Frankâ€ units â€“ they are perfect. - Replaced swing arm bushings with brass units. - Progressive Suspension rear shocks - â€œGunfighterâ€ seat cushion and cover from Nebraska (no Viet Nam) - Like new seat pan and hinges - Light weight and sealed battery - Wiring harness is 100% original and clean with no cuts or mods.

On August 13, the Yamaha Champions Riding School, at New Jersey Motorsports Park, will debut its new one-day clinic. In addition, YCRS will head an N2 Track Days SED or “Skills Enhancement Day” on August 12. After eight successful two-day programs in the past four months, the YCRS Day Camp is being put into play and being paired with the proven success of the N2 (formerly NESBA) SED.

Rossi Signs Extension with Yamaha Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Yamaha announced the signing of Valentino Rossi to a two-year contract extension that will see the nine-time World Champion with the factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. “It’s great because this was my target; I wanted to continue, I am feeling good and I’m motivated to keep giving my best,” says Rossi. “I am very happy that I can keep riding my YZR-M1, that has been my love for so many years and will still be my love this year and the following two seasons.
