This is a pretty special 1974 Z1. Purchased from an estate, and believed to be a one owner bike. It has a 1200 big bore kit, with 10.25-1 compression pistons- this allows premium street gas without knocking.

Up for auction is my 1973 Z1 900 Kawasaki. I bought the bike from the original owner in Powell, WY a few years ago. In 1976 this motorcycle was involved in an accident which unfortunately required a new frame, gauges, three turn signals three exhaust pipes and a new front rim. The photo's show the newer OEM part numbers of the replaced parts. The frame still has the original factory part number Kawasaki sticker on it. (see photo's) Since I took possession I have replaced the original seat, gas tank, side panels, and rear fender. I also installed brand new turn signals as well as the posts. The bike does need new tires. I have the a new front for it. I also do have an airbox cover for the air cleaner cavity. All the electrics work well. The bike shifts nice but it does run a little rough. Carburetors. I do have a new carburetor seal kit which will go with the bike as well. The bike does present itself really well. Overall it's in very nice condition. The one exhaust header does have two dimple dents in it. (see photo) The left side upper pipe also has a small dent just forward of the mounting bolt.

This is a true survivor with only 4064 mi.on it. It runs strong for having sat so long.does need some T.L.C. it sat in a barn on the coast for a couple years and the salt air caused some rust in the paint and some chrome pitting, nothing real bad.Only things not on this bike are the stock air box and center stand.

What I have to offer is my 1974 Kawasaki H2 B 750 Mach IV painted in Candy Gold (brown) Paint is from Vintage motorcle paint and paint work done by LRC tripes, Bridgeport, Ct. Frame paint done in a beautiful deep gloss black Handle bars are a vintage flat track bend from Flanders All switches, brake master cylinder, rims and spokes came from Reproduction Decals up there in Canada, along with some other misc. rubber parts Rechromed shifter, brake pedal, fork ears, front fender, chain guard and rear brake torgue arm was done by Hanlon plating in Richmond, VA.

1974 H2 750 KAWASAKI Triple The pictures are not real good and the bike is dusty from setting in storage..I bought this H2 from the original owner about 10 years ago,it has about 8100 actual miles,I had some restoration work done by a skilled painter and a skilled motorcycle mechanic,I never put plates on this bike and only rode it twice for a very short distance,it has been stored in my heated building for the 10 years I have owned it,It is almost completly stock,it has the original seat,exhaust,Etc.I did have both the rims replaced( I have the originals that are included)The original owner told me he thought the clutch was getting weak but when I drove it the front end lifted without even trying .Because this bike has been stored for a long time it needs the front brake bled,it needs a battery,needs the new air cleaner installed and probably a few similar minor things and a complete inspection before you go out on the road . It has not been started for quite a while but since the bike has been stored in a fully heated and dry building it should not be much of an issue.It still has the original complete air cleaner assembly as well as the owners manual,tool kit and the spare spark plug holder.clean Illinois title,I do not arrange shipping but I will help load this onto your truck or trailor.Ask questions BEFORE you bid not AFTER. I am now retired and I am too old for this type of bike.

Better suspension and Track mode brings us so close to an R9 Photos by Dave Schelske As the tail rider in a train of approximately seven identical Yamahas, I couldn’t help but watch in awe as each of us weaved our way through the notorious Tail of the Dragon, bending the bike underneath us to our will through the 120-something corners, the unison of the dance mesmerizing as each of us took our turn, one by one, around each apex, at irresponsible speeds, front wheels inches away from the person in front of us. This is the kind of trust you build up after you’ve ridden with the same group of people for years on end. We all know that riding with your friends is fun.

One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

2024 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ Review

Riding 950 miles across three states in two days highlights this Tracer’s capabilities Photography by Joseph Augustin New motorcycle model introductions follow a well-worn path: travel to the event location, eat nice meals, get briefed on the bike of the moment, ride a route designed to highlight the bike’s strengths, take photos/video, eat more good food, return home, and write up a review. After 27 years in this industry, I still get a cheap thrill about throwing a leg over a new motorcycle before it is available to the general public. However, what really gets me going is when I have a chance to log more than just the couple of hundred miles typically covered in an intro and spend some real time on the road with said bike.

Our reasoning is that, thanks to the sleuthing of Dennis Chung, we suspect the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ will be coming to the U.S. in 2024.
