Yamaha Other description

2014 Yamaha XVS95CEGR, Some Photos shown with additional cost accessories.Yamaha believes that the cruiser segment is slightly changing and the big deep-fendered, classic-styled bikes are now less popular then they were seven years ago. As a result, the Japanese company takes a back-to-basics approach as it thinks that the new trend focuses more on the motorcycle itself and less on chrome and fancy accessories. With these aspects in mind Yamaha designed the new Bolt which is also available in a slightly sportier R-Spec version. In terms of style the Yamaha Bolt R-Spec comes with special colors, remote reservoir shocks, cool textured-color stitched seat and blacked-out mirrors.Like the standard Bolt, the Bolt R-spec is equipped with a fuel injected, 4-valve, V-Star 950 engine which is paired with a five speed transmission. A raw metal theme highlights the engine styling, and youll also like the minimalist, old-school fuel tank and the limited bodywork which leaves the motorcycles mechanics completely exposed. The 2013 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec if available on the US market with a starting price of $8,290.

Yamalube Motor Oil Video is Educational, British, and Brainwashing

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

Yamaha Motor Europe have just posted a new video up on Youtube about their Yamalube motor oil and why you should use it on your Yamaha products.  They are pretty damn convincing or very good at brainwashing! The video is pretty educational, explaining how motorcycle engines and car engines are very different, what a motorcycle engine really needs, and why Yamalube is very well suited for the job. Various graphs, charts, shots of scientists making oil, and the accented British narrator have further convinced me that I need to get Yamalube and perhaps even be adding it into my morning bowl of cereal.

Yamaha Trademarks Logos for YZF-R9

Thu, 27 Oct 2022

Signs point to an EICMA announcement Ever since we first uncovered evidence of a YZF-R7 based on the MT-07, people started to ask when Yamaha would do the same to the MT-09 and release an YZF-R9 sportbike using the same 890cc Crossplane Triple. The questions picked up a few months later when we dug up trademark filings for a whole range of model names from an R2 to an R9. With the 2023 model launch season in full swing, and EICMA less than two weeks away, we’ve got more fuel for the old rumor engine with two new Yamaha filings, this time for figurative trademarks for “R9” and “YZF-R9.” The trademarks were filed Oct.
