Bruce Willis’ 1988 Yamaha TW200 Trailway Up for Auction

The second of five motorcycles from the private collection of actor Bruce Willis has gone up for auction to raise funds for the non-profit military support group The Boot Campaign. Bidding is now open on CharityBuzz.com for the “Die Hard” star’s 1988 Yamaha TW200 Trailway. It follows Willis’ 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS which sold for auction for $6,250, just a few hundred dollars higher than its list price in Kelley Blue Book.

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights

Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.
