Yamaha Other description

If you are looking for an easy to ride entry-level cruiser, the Yamaha Virago 250 represents a solid, reliable choice. Powered by an air-cooled 60-degree V-Twin engine the Virago delivers a manageable amount of power, with a more low-end torquey feel than the high-strung Ninja. An undersquare cruiser bore and stroke of 49mm x 66mm account for the gruntier bottom end and add up to a 249cc displacement. A solitary 26mm Mikuni carburetor controls the air-fuel mixture and its choke did an admirable job starting things up in the morning, although it ranked just above the DR in that respect. Dispensing the power to the chain-driven rear wheel is a 5 gear transmission. - one owner, Dealer inspection, This YAMAHA is in Excellent overall exterior condition - Disc Brakes, one owner Bike - Contact SF Moto at 415-255-XXXX or XXXX@yahoo.com for more info. - A little bit about us, SF Moto is a locally owned shop catering to 1st time scooter & motorcycle buyers. Yamaha Champions Riding School August Update

Tue, 05 Aug 2014

Our friends at the Yamaha Champions Riding School have been busy lately. Since moving to New Jersey Motorsports park in April, traffic has steadily risen, with June being sold out and July not far behind. August is very promising with some new ideas (one-day clinics to bring a more economical program to a larger group of riders) being inserted into the mix as well as a normal two-day school at the end of the month, which is already 80% full thanks to the yearly visit from the engineering department of Harley Davidson. Following August YCRS will have two schools the week directly after the AMA Pro races at NJMP.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Yamaha MT-07 And MT-09 Street Rally

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.
