Up for auction is my 2011 Yamaha Star Stryker Motorcycle. I Purchased this bike new from my local Yamaha Dealership in May of 2012. This is the Blacked out edition. (aka Raven). I installed Cobra Swept pipes ($600) with no baffles, I do have the baffles that are included. I installed a pair of Mustang Touring seats w/driver backrest($750), Cobra power commander ($350), Low and Mean brand lowering kit($125), LED integrated Tail light, and I installed a Tsukayu Batwing with Phillips stereo and 6x9 speakers ($1000) , also has 12V Power Outlet, USB, and AUX for your smart phone. New back tire less than 150 miles ago...($225) Black is a tough color, but would rate condition 9 out of 10... Only selling due lack of time to ride... Clear Title in hand... Yamaha to Cut Motorcycle Production in 2009
Thu, 26 Feb 2009With mounting inventories coupled with a drop in demand, Yamaha will be cutting its motorcycle production in Japan by 24 percent this year or to about 260,000 total units; one newspaper reported this would be a 40-year low for the manufacture. Yamaha plans to cut production for motorcycles and other products by 30 percent in the Americas, 20 percent in Europe but will maintain production levels in Asia where demand has not dropped off. The company is forecasting its group sales to fall 22 percent with an operating loss of about $300 million.
