Mon, 28 Oct 2013Earlier this year, Yamaha started a teaser campaign called “Dark Side of Japan” that culminated in the introduction this summer of the FZ-09 naked Triple (also known as the MT-09 in other markets). It’s now fall, but apparently Yamaha has more hiding in the Dark Side, in another new naked motorcycle. Yamaha has released another new teaser video called “Rise Up” for a new model to be unveiled Nov.

Thu, 03 Apr 2014Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., is proud to announce that it has signed on as sponsor for the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented By Yamaha, a three-event championship motorcycle road racing series that includes the Yamaha SoCal Nationals at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on April 26-27; the Pacific Nationals at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA on May 3-4; and the Mountain Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT on May 24-25. Yamaha has made it clear the Bolt Café is only a reference model to showcase the customization potential of the Bolt. At its heart remains the Bolt’s 942cc V-Twin engine and double-cradle frame.
