EXCELLENT CONDITION!! I am selling my 2010 Yamaha TTR230. I am the second owner. This bike has always been garage kept and washed after every trail ride. Bike just detailed as well. I recently had a $175 tune up done. Oil change, New spark plug, carb and air filter cleaned and tuned. This bike also comes with Electric Start, Keyless start, as well as a Trickle Charger with power cord. This keeps the battery charged up at all times. Battery is in great shape. . Per my mechanic, the Oil did get over filled a tad once, so it smokes a little bit while warming up, but it Runs amazing!! Price is pretty firm,( maybe a little wiggle room)as I have already reduced price from $2275.
I also have a 2008 Kawasaki KX65 for sale and a Trailer hitch rack to carry both bikes...lemme know if yer little one needs a screamer bike! Tops out over 68mph! Fri, 19 Feb 2010ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.
Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 04 Jul 2011Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.

Mon, 21 Jan 2013I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.
