Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. Tags are paid through 05/14.This scoot is in very good condition. Less than 3000 miles, it runs great. I purchased scooter in Fresno,Ca in 05/09. Sale docs are available to view. Everything is tight and sealed. No leaking, dripping or oozing. Some minor scratches on right hand guard and side cover. It has always been stored in a garage with battery tender. New battery 06/13.Large trunk under seat will fit many groceries, or gloves, and a standard helmet (not full cover). I have added the headlight mod which allows both lights to be on for low beam and high beam use. From the factory, one light is low, the other is high beam. I have also put on the Yamaha utility hook which holds anything with a strap...grocery bag, back pack, etc. Small item, but very useful. Tires have MANY miles left to them. Seat is in perfect condition. A very easy unit to drive...for beginner or veteran rider. No gear shifting, just twist and go. Cheap to insure. My policy (Geico) is $89/yr. I am selling because I bought a Triumph Bonneville last month and haven't ridden the scoot since then. Limited garage space and don't want to continue to pay insurance for something I am not riding regularly. If you want to see it first hand to test ride, you MUST be at least 18 years old with a valid California driver's license with "M" motorcycle endorsement and sign a promissory note to pay for any damage you may cause. Otherwise, I can demonstrate on my street, for you.
LOCAL PICK UP, ONLY. If you choose to pay with a certified check, we will go to my bank together to cash/deposit check.
This item is listed elsewhere and may sell at anytime, and this listing may be nullified.

Rumor Mill: Yamaha To Make R400 and R650
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Yamaha is set to put into production two new sporty bikes — the R400 and R650 — according to “Young Machine” a Japanese motorcycle magazine. If true, this would fill a huge void in the manufacturer’s beginner sportbike bike lineup. It would make sense, considering the success of Suzuki’s SV650 (which later morphed into the Gladius and is now the SFV650), Kawasaki’s Ninja 650 (ER-6 in other markets), and even Honda’s CBR500R.
