Yamaha has re-launched its popular Super Sport Virtual Bike Show for owners of all Yamaha sport bikes to showcase their creativity to all on Yamaha’s website. Off-road capability isn’t the first thing people consider when shopping for a scooter but it is one of the more surprising traits of the Yamaha Zuma 125. In his review of the Zuma 125, Tom Roderick says the scooter “radiates a more adventurous attitude” than most scooters, with its knobby tires and hand guards making it capable for the odd excursion off the pavement. But if you’re still not convinced, Yamaha‘s Taiwanese arm has released a video featuring the Zuma 125 (or BWS 125, as it is known internationally) getting rough and rugged in the dirt.

Yamaha Teams Going Retro For Anaheim 2

In preparation for Anaheim 2, round 3 of the AMA Supercross championship, a few Yamaha teams are embracing the past for team colors. The CycleTrader.com Rock River Yamaha team is going back to Yamaha’s corporate roots with a White and Red themed look that could be found on YZs in the latter half of the 1980s and into the 90s. This color scheme also graced the prototype YZ400F Doug Henry rode into the history books with his win at the 1997 Las Vegas Supercross.
