Yamaha Other description
2009 Yamaha V-Max VMX1700, Priced almost 1500.00 below book!!!! In the land of bigger is better, a motorcycle like the VMAX has a lot of pull – literal and figurative. The claim is a head-glitching 197.4 horsepower at the crank, the claim is correct!!! Ive ridden it, All I can say is WOW!!! Acceleration on the VMAX is pretty much the gnarliest thing I’ve ever experienced. I mean a 1000cc sportbike is pretty fast, but the VMAX gearing is so high and there’s so much power down low, you gotta hold on! On public pavement the power of the VMAX is past prodigious, beyond ridiculous. Probably should be illegal, but we’ll take it. And while the 66.9 wheelbase killed wheelie attempts, the power spat out of the shaft drive is what I would call usable power, its a blast to ride!!! Stop by, or give us a call, lets talk V-Max!!! Fully serviced and ready to ride!!! It can be seen at Brennys East, 3924 State St, in Bettendorf,Iowa 563-359-7333 or 888-391-7341. Be sure to visit brennys dot com for this, and lots of other bikes, and ATVs!!!!

Ben Bostrom Events
Fri, 05 Jul 2013Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.
2009 Yamaha R1 Reviewed!
Tue, 20 Jan 2009Get the Flash Player to see this player. After much speculation and anticipation regarding the 2009 YZF-R1, MO finally got some seat time in the recently updated numero uno. After hearing much about this new “Cross-plane crankshaft” technology, we were ready to write it off as media hype and PR propaganda, but it turns out that the Yamaha R1 has actually tightened the gap between MotoGP technology and street applications.
The short but sweet life of the Yamaha R7
Tue, 17 Jan 2012I was reunited with an old friend recently, my 1999 Virgin Yamaha R7 Superbike. By the end of 1998 I had won three straight BSB titles with the Yamaha YZF750, when main sponsor Cadbury’s pulled out leaving zero funds for a title defence. Wanting desperately to ride the new R7 and thinking a replacement backer would instantly get on board I turned down quite a few offers including a juicy contract from Crescent Suzuki (Paul Denning always enjoys reminding me).
