Yamaha Other description

2009 Yamaha Tmax 500 , One owner, no leaks, no dings, no scrapes, no scars, no damage history. 2909 trouble-free miles, all maintenance by dealer. Fresh battery spring of 2013. Smooth, dependable, reliable, fun. Engineering sweet-spot for simplicity, reliability, agility, comfort, and economy. Loves the highway, light on gas. 48+ mpg all around average. Storage locker can accommodate a full-face helmet, large laptop, a gallon of milk and two bags of groceries, or a family-size pizza from Papa Murphy's, just not all at the same time. Ideal for econo-commuting, grocery-runs, or running the curves on the back roads. No sissy bar to kick over, but nonchalantly outruns the shake'n'bakes. Did I mention it is quiet? Easy on the neighbors' ears. $5,399.00 3145600041

The next-generation 689cc touring enduro is almost ready. The bike, magnificent in its conciseness and Dakar functionality, is a kind of preview of the future SUV that will replace the XT660Z Tenere. The rival of the BMW F800 GS/F 800 GS Adventure and the promising KTM 790 Adventure borrowed the 689cc inline-two from the Yamaha MT-07 and XSR700 (on these bikes it develops 74.8 hp and 68 Nm).

The generosity of the motorcycling community shone brightly on Monday, as riders, fans, friends and enthusiasts took part in a charity track day at Sonoma Raceway hosted by 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days, raising $75,000. The charity track day was to benefit David Stanton, a Bay Area resident and long-time American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) competitor, who was paralyzed after a racing crash in June. In all, more than 400 people participated in the track day, attended the evening reception or stopped by to give Stanton their best wishes.
