This is 1 of those bikes that is part scooter and part motorcycle, meaning it has a scooter "step through" design and automatic transmission but has a fullsize frame and engine like a regular motorcycle. Because of that, you can not only ride around town, but you can also get up on the highway and cruise at higher speeds. The Majesty is fuel injected and Yamaha rates the fuel economy at 50MPG. If you are driving a truck or SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE, it can pay for it'self in fuel savings in a reasonable amount of time. This particular Majesty has been well cared for both cosmetically and mechanically. It sarts easily, and runs & drives just as it should. Wed, 26 Feb 2014With the absence of Marc Marquez from the second Sepang MotoGP test, due to a broken leg suffered in a training accident, another Honda rider took his place at the top of the time sheets, though it’s not who you might think. Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini Honda set the fastest time at the end of the first day with a 2:00.848. The time is 1.3 second slower than the fastest time Marquez set at the last Sepang test.
2012 Yamaha YZ450F Announced
Thu, 09 Jun 2011Yamaha gave its YZ450F a major update for 2010 with its reversed engine layout so it should be no surprised the motocrosser received just a few updates for 2012. Besides the usual graphical updates, the 2012 Yamaha YZ450F receives a new exhaust system to meet 94dB competition requirements. Fuel injection settings have also been tweaked for smoother response at low to mid revs.
