I have a 2006 Yamaha R1 (blue) in mint condition with only 8000 mis. There is not 1 scratch or blemish on this bike. The bike is all stock except for the 2 Brothers exhaust and frame sliders. I'm am the second owner (I'm over 40yrs old as was the original owner). I have all paperwork for work performed by dealer from original owner and myself. Title in hand. I'm asking $6,800 obo. Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead

Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
Lorenzo Leads Sepang Test Day 1; Spies Fourth on 1000cc Yamaha M1
Tue, 31 Jan 2012Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo topped all riders with a top lap time of 2:01.657 on the first day of pre-season MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. With reigning World Champion Casey Stoner ailing and unable to ride, Lorenzo produced the top time as the only racer to lap Sepang in under 2 minutes 2 seconds. Riding the 1000cc Yamaha YZR-M1, Lorenzo topped second-ranked Dani Pedrosa and his Honda RC213V by 0.343 seconds.
