I have for sale is a 2006 yamaha midnight roadstar 1700cc or its a 103 in cubic inch. It looks like a harley,sounds like a harley,i ride with the harleys and keep up with them no problem. The bike has four 6x9 stereo system , 1 on each top lid of the hard saddle bags (water proof )and the other two are in the front batwing. The bike has like 14,000 mis on it. the bike comes with 18" custom ape hangers that iv seen no 1 with in northern cali,passenger seat and sissey bar. asking $7,000 or trade,if trade ur offer better be worth $7,000 or more. dont waste my time,lets see what you have to trade or let me see the cash. Yamaha to Export Motorcycles from India to Japan – Yes, You Read That Right

In what may be a first for a Japanese manufacturer, Yamaha will be exporting motorcycles produced in India to its home market. Yamaha is shipping 300 units the YZF-R15 to Japan to test the market’s appetite for the 150cc sport bike. The R15 is manufactured by India Yamaha Motor at its plant in Surajpur, India.

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.
