Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

New Rossi AGVs: Investments for the future

Valentino Rossi is edging towards the twilight of his career and anything that has been attached to the biggest star to come out of MotoGP is destined to be worthy of a collector’s treasure trove. Whenever Rossi has raced at a track that has some kind of importance to the Italian his AGV often gets coated with a one-off Aldo Drudi special, this year has seen the Wake Up! and Faces designs.

2011 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Champion Josh Hayes

Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.
