2005 YAMAHA XVS1100 V-STAR CLASSIC, UP FOR SALE IS A VERY CLEAN 2005 YAMAHA XVS1100 CLASSIC MODEL. THE PAINT IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION WITH A FEW CHIPS AND SCRATCHES. THE CHROME SHINES. THE SPOKE WHEELS ARE STRAIGHT AND THE TIRES ARE STILL IN GOOD USABLE CONDITION. VERY LOW MILES OF ONLY 6,644 ON THIS BIKE. THIS IS A GREAT MID SIZE CRUISER. ALSO HAS A SHIFT DRIVE. NO CHAIN TO MESS WITH OR GET LUBE ALL OVER THE REAR WHEEL. THIS BIKE CAME TO US WITH SOME DAMAGE. WE HAVE REPAIRED OR REPLACED THE PARTS THAT HAD DAMAGE. THE MOTORCYCLE COMES WITH A CALIFORNIA SALVAGE CERTIFICATE AND CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL VIN NUMBER INSPECTION. THIS IS A NICE LOOKING LOW MILE BIKE FOR A VERY FAIR PRICE. Dynojet will also have its popular dyno performance truck on-site for race support. Devised to fill an 11-week gap in professional road racing between mid-March and late May, the Superbike Shootout was inspired by the successful British Superbike Championship series.
Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
