I am selling a very well maintained 2004 yamaha vstar 650 custom for $4100 obo. No 1 like it in the area, guaranteed! Many upgrades; White wall tires, lowered, highway bars, extra break lamps for safety, harley turn signals( front and back), foot pegs, passing lamps, tinted windshield, chrome horn cover, mustang seat, sissy bar (back rest), brand new saddle bags... The three-time AMA Pro Racing SuperBike Champion will be protected by RS Taichi racing leathers and gloves while aboard his Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike. After a long-standing relationship with Teknic, his previous protective gear provider who ceased operation last year, Josh had an opportunity to go in a new direction.

Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season

Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.
