2002 Yamaha Drag Star I traded this bike for a truck I had. Thought I could ride it. Can't get it done because of my hand. Had an accident a few years ago, lost my index finger. Pic was before they took the finger off. First day I owned it, my friend rode it and came back with a "sad face". He said it back fired & ran terrible. We put it on a trailer, took it to the repair shop. Two weeks later he called. "nice bike" he said..."runs great now" he said..."$439.26" he said. He replaced the Intake Boots and a few other things. Last week the battery took a crap, replaced it with a new one. The last owner took this bike to a lot of shows, it has blue lights under the tank, looks cool at night. It's not doing me any good, needs to go. Nice bike! I respond to my emails quickly, so if you have questions don't hesitate to ask. 2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 Faces Recall for High Engine Idle
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Yamaha has initiated recalls on the 2010 R1 in several markets because of a problem with the wiring harness causing high idle speeds. As of this writing, recalls have been announce for Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. No recall has been announced for the U.S.

It's touching, if a little bizarre.
