2000 Yamaha Venture 1300 , Up for sale is my 2000 Yamaha Venture Touring Edition. (34000 Miles) It is a 4 cylinder 1300cc touring bike with CB, Electronic Cruise, Radio/Tape/Aux, Hard Saddle bags and Trunk. Within this past year I have replaced the factory speakers and Battery. I changed out the stock pipes with FTR pipes. No baffles in these pipes. Loud/And will turn some heads. (Stock Pipes Included if Interested) New rear tire Summer 2012. It is a great running bike for the daily commute or weekend getaway. I honestly hate to see this go, but maybe this will be the right fit for you. Not looking to trade. Yamaha Developing 250cc Sportbike for India in 2014
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Yamaha has been rumored to be working on a 250cc sportbike for quite some time now. In fact, the other three members of the Japanese Big Four have launched new models in the small-displacement segment in recent years, but none of these new generation small-displacement bikes bear Yamaha‘s crossed tuning fork logo. That may change by 2014 however.
2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced
Thu, 30 May 2013Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort. However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.
2014 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F Recalled
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Yamaha is recalling 2014 YZ450F and YZ250F off-ride motorcycles because of a risk of the drive chain detaching. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects 1,300 units in the U.S. while Transport Canada says another 115 units are affected north of the border.
