Yamaha Other description
1995 Yamaha XV750 Virago, You are looking at a 3300 mile bike, well 3343 to be exact!!! The seat height of the Virago 750 is about 26 inches. This allows you to sit on the bike with both feet flat on the ground. Anyone with a short inseam will find this a good feature. The wide and well-cushioned seat is comfortable on long rides. This is clean one, it has been ridden 185 miles a year,{ for a total of 3343}. It makes plenty of power by it's V-Twin engine. The shaft drive is quiet and easy to maintain. The dual disc front brakes are more than adequate to control and stop the bike. The Virago also has painted fenders, I think it gives a classic look. New tires, both on the front, and the rear!! We replaced them because of the age. All of our pre-owned bikes have been serviced by our factory trained mechanics, and will have fresh oil changes, and a full checklist has been completed. Also,we check all charging systems. When you get a bike or ATV from us, it is truly ready to ride! Be sure to visit brennys dot com to see this, and other motorcycles and ATVs! We are your one stop store for your all your powersport needs!

Intermot 2012: 2013 Yamaha FZ8 Announced
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.
Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
