Yamaha Other description

1993 Yamaha TW200
21k miles
Clean title
The bike is an absolute joy to ride, I bought it primarily to learn how to work on and ride motorcycles and for that it has been awesome.
However I'm ready to let it go and move on to something bigger.
The new parts list is a little lengthy, because I like to tinker.
New clutch
New tires
New LED brake light
New LED headlight
New Conestyle Air Filter from Japan Webbike
Replaced the Battery for a Lithium Ion
Also all the original battery box and fenders were removed and a aluminum "stealthy" battery cage tucked up under the seat
The pipe from the manifold back is new including the muffler.
The Carburetor has been cleaned and jetted for better performance.
On warm days you don't even need to use the choke to start it
There is everything needed for kick start but some of the springs have warn out so I just took the lever off
The gas tank has been stripped down them primer and painted imitation steel. I originally had it bare metal but I couldn't find a clear coat that worked well with WVs horrible humidity.
Not looking for trades as I am leaving the area soon.

Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.

In a recent group interview at Yamaha Motor Company headquarters in Japan, company president Hiroyuki Yanagi announced plans for the company to enter into the automotive market by as early as 2014 — six years ahead of schedule. If you’re a motorcyclist or musician, the Yamaha brand is likely very familiar to you. However, the company has a long history building, or designing, engines for the car industry.

How To Rebuild a Yamaha R6 In Under A Minute + Video

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

If you’re new to the road racing scene, you might have heard the terms “Factory” and “Privateer.” For the casual observer, you’ll notice the difference between the two ultimately comes down to money and support, as one is likely working out of the back of their van while the other is supported by an 18-wheeler. This video, shot by the Y.E.S./Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team makes the line between the two sides clear as day. Watch as the Yamaha crew rebuilds Garrett Gerloff’s R6 from the frame up after a nasty crash with enough time to make the race.
