1990 Yamaha Venture Royale Touring Motorcycle - Low Milage on 2040-motos
Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
Up for sale is a nice 1990 Yamaha Venture Royale Touring Motorcycle. Runs great, looks good with some minor scratches and wear, but very nice for a 23 year old motorcycle. I put $780.00 into bike last year and this is the work that has been recently completed: Rear brake rebuild, front brake master cylinder flush, clutch master cylinder flush, coolant flush, engine oil & filter, drive shaft lube change, replace lower throttle cable & tighten steering bearings. This is a great bike for someone who is beginning with a touring motorcycle and set up for a smaller framed person, although I am 6'-4" and works good for me as well. Only reason for selling is to put funds towards rebuilding my boat, as I have put very little mileage on this bike over this past summer, although it is nice to have even for short runs around town, etc. I have this for sale locally and have the option to stop auction if a deal is made locally. Starting bid is $1000.00 with a no reserve auction. Good luck bidding.

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.

It's not supposed to be serious: Fiat Yamaha application form Now you can take Rossi's space The expected departure of Vale46 ™ "Fack"© Rossi from the Fiat Yamaha team at the end of the season leaves a dwarf star sized hole in the motogp stratosphere. Popular opinion places Ben Spies firmly in the saddle of the ex-yellow liveried M1, but MGPN can exclusively revel that Yamaha big bosses are worried that Ben doesn't possess the necessary character traits to step up into the role.
