Up for sale is a nice 1990 Yamaha Venture Royale Touring Motorcycle. Runs great, looks good with some minor scratches and wear, but very nice for a 23 year old motorcycle. I put $780.00 into bike last year and this is the work that has been recently completed: Rear brake rebuild, front brake master cylinder flush, clutch master cylinder flush, coolant flush, engine oil & filter, drive shaft lube change, replace lower throttle cable & tighten steering bearings. This is a great bike for someone who is beginning with a touring motorcycle and set up for a smaller framed person, although I am 6'-4" and works good for me as well. Only reason for selling is to put funds towards rebuilding my boat, as I have put very little mileage on this bike over this past summer, although it is nice to have even for short runs around town, etc. I have this for sale locally and have the option to stop auction if a deal is made locally. Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
