We have been specializing in Gray Market Imports and  FZR 400's for over 20 years. Our parts inventory and knowledge regarding these machines is the largest in the country.
This particular FZR400 is what we would describe as a "good honest bike".
Not far from our usual concourse examples. This one you could add to a collection, give it to your girl or just ride it every day.
We acquired this machine from a local PA owner, stripped it down to the frame and motor and began a rider restoration;
Valve service, plugs, filters and all fluids replaced. Fuel system was cleaned and carbs totally rebuilt. Chassis was totally detailed and any weathered parts replaced, coated or painted.
New Bridgestone tires were fitted along with New brake pads. Front forks rebuilt with new seals,bushing's and oil. The body is a respray and very nicely done. Frame, forks and trees are perfect, Swingarm has some small damage on inside from a previous sprocket bolt issue. Bike is 'mostly' original ex. for; Period correct full Yoshimura racing Exhaust, 520 chain conversion, K+N air filter and paint.

Kenny Roberts Joins Inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

We’ve posted several articles over the past few months about the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) because the motorcycling public is invited to attend what looks like an industry/trade show. And we’re not the only ones excited to check it out. Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.

And in my front room this evening...

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.

2024 Yamaha Ténéré 700 First Ride

Wed, 13 Dec 2023

Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.
