This is a 1982 Yamaha XJ750 SECA. Great old school bike. This is definitely a project bike but with some work could be a really cool motorcycle. Bike DOES NOT have a title (A title can be obtain call for details). Some of the known problems are forks are blown and bent, carbs are still functional but needs cleaning, engine is down on compression on one cylinder, and needs regular maintenance. This is a rebuild bike but with a low price of $470 this can be transformed into a great motorcycle at a low cost. Dealer has a $99 fee in addition to listed price. Yamaha Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 06 Nov 2012Yamaha‘s North American sales were up over the first nine months of 2012, representing the lone bright spot in the company’s third quarter report. North American consumers purchased 51,000 Yamaha motorcycles (including scooters and ATVs), for a 13.3% increase from the 45,000 units sold in the opening nine months of 2011. North American sales translated into 30.7 million yen (US$382 million) in revenue for Yamaha, a 15.0% increase from the first three quarters of 2011.
