these bikes are rare...they have an occult like following.. it was the 1st year they came out with shaft driven, 1st year they came out with down draft carbs, hence the shape of the gas tank, 550cc it runs but needs some tlc. bought a new silinoid but still have to jump the silinoid not sure why...i have had my fun with this bike ...to many other bikes i want to own and ride! COMES WITH. NEW...starter,carbs,starter silinoid gas tank,rear tire,sparkplugs,battery, bikecover. asking $600 or best ...

MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.

Yamaha Recalls V Star 950, V Star 1300 and Super Tenere For Possible Fuel Leak

On Oct. 28th, 2011 Yamaha filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V533000)  regarding possible fuel leaks on 2009 thru 2012 model-year V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer manufactured October 2008 through August 2011. The recall also includes the 2007 V Star 1300 model with manufacture dates August 2006 to March 2007.

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
