Yamaha Other description
Up for sale is a Titled/registered/plated and insured(all in my name) 1977 RD400. Motor and frame match. I bought this bike about 2 years ago. I have too many bikes and I have to let this one go. The bike has 12K miles on the odometer. I just finished rebuilding the engine, new seals and gaskets. The bores are in excellent shape and I believe they are on the first size (although I did not measure them) The carbs were fully rebuilt. exhaust system solid and good. Tires are not new but have life left in them. Gas tank is clean (not relined) petcock in new as are fuel lines. Autolube is disabled/bike is premix only now. Lights and signals horn etc are working. Seat is in excellent shape. Tank is in good shape but has some small dents (should be able to bump them out) new battery (sealed). Fairly original but not totally. This bike is a good strong runner. Not perfect, but overall very good condition. slight oil weep, have not determined cause. centerstand permanetly removed. Fine print- sold as is. this is a vintage vehicle and as such is not flawless. you may view in person. All sales final. Payment in cash or money order only. I will only ship if your shipper picks up and you make ALL arrangements. I prefer pickup. Located in SE michigan (Ann Arbor) Last buyer had family emergency and could not complete purchase.
