 Freshly restored Vintage 2-stroke.  This bike is fast and runs like no other out there.  Open throttle up wide and she screams down the road and the sound is amazing.  

•    Rebuilt top end has less than 500 miles on it (see photos of speedo after completion of rebuild)

•    New Brembo brakes, drilled rotors and new master

•    Powder coated wheels with new Avon Road Rider tires

•    Jetting tuned at Kon-Tiki Motorcycles in San Diego for the Spec II pipes and rebuild

Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season

Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
