Yamaha Other description
1976 Yamaha mx100 that doesn't run right now but is in really good shape despite some minor imperfections like dent on gas tank, exhaust, and head light. Other than that the bike is beautiful. The rims and tires look good and the front forks and rear shocks are clean with no major rust. Gas tank has a few dents and scratches plus some. Are metal showing but no major rust. The fenders look good and the seat seems all there. The handle bars are very nice with good grips and clutch, brake, throttle are all there. The front headlight is intact with only a dent on top but no cracks and unsure if it has a working bulb. Engine looks clean and has good compression. The motorcycle is mostly all there and wouldn't take much to get it started and ride the trails or back on the road.

Yamaha Names Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to 2015 Dakar Team
Fri, 23 May 2014Yamaha has retained Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to race for its official factory team in the 2015 Dakar Rally. Pain and Metge will ride a new WR450F Rally currently being developed for the 2015 rally. Both riders raced for the Yamaha team in this year’s rally; Pain finished third overall behind KTM Red Bull team’s Marc Coma and Jordi Viladoms while Metge rode as a support rider for fourth-place finisher Cyril Despres.
Think You’re a Smooth Rider? Yamaha’s SmartRiding App Will Prove It
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).
