Totally Upgraded Electronic Ignition System (Dyna Electronic Ignition), so no need to be adjusting breaker points. Also New Modern Rectifier/Regulator, New Coils and Spark Plugs. This bike runs excellent, can go up to 10.000 RPM like nothing.Other Upgrades include DG exhaust Racing Pipes, Jet kit, and Independent Air Filters.Engine is still Completely Original, has never been repaired to next bore, however it was disassembled and completely inspected inside. New engine seals and gaskets as well as new Piston Rings on Original Standard Pistons were installed since they were intact.It has the Original Speedometer and Tachometer Instruments. 2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies

Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) has named Dennis McNeal as the new chair of its board of directors. McNeal, the vice president of motorcycle operations for Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A., will take over the chairman position from Mark Blackwell, the retiring vice president of Polaris Industries.
