The pictures tell the story. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. The bike has sat most of its life. It is clean and always ran well. It has now sat for the last couple of years. It does usually still start right up but the carbs need to be cleaned from sitting. It does not leak and everything works. I have extra parts that go with it if you want them. I have the air box tubes that are not in the picture. Bike must be paid for in 7 days. You must contact me within 24 hrs of buying. Storage is no problem until you pick it up BUT the bike must be paid for first. I can help load it but shipping is buyers responsibility. NON PAYERS ARE REPORTED IF NO CONTACT WITHIN 48 HOURS. Sorry but the non payers on here are getting ridiculous. If your serious send your # and I'll give you a call. Thanks

2011 Yamaha Vino Classic Recalled for Drum Brake Issue

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Yamaha is recalling 2011 Vino Classic scooters because of a problem with its brakes. More specifically, the brake shoe linings may separate from the shoe due to a lack of proper adhesion, reducing brake performance and increasing the risk of a crash. The problem can affect both the front and rear drum brakes.

Yamaha R6 to Continue Racing in Supersport Next Generation Category

Mon, 17 Jan 2022

No R6 replacement for the near future Last month, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) provided the first look at the new “ Supersport Next Generation” models that will redefine middleweight racing class. Starting with the 2022 season, the World Supersport class (and their equivalents in various national racing series such as MotoAmerica) will add new models such as the Ducati Panigale V2, MV Agusta F3 800, MV Agusta F3 Superveloce, Triumph Street Triple RS, Suzuki GSX-R750, and the 636cc Kawasaki ZX-6R. The primarily 600cc models that previously represented the class will continue for one more season, before the Supersport Next Generation models take over completely in 2023.

Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300

Mon, 11 Jul 2011

Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue,  this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
