Yamaha Other description

This is a beautiful RD 250 cafe racer. The rebuild has just been finished. Nice pearlescent red paint. Has original 1974 engine with all that entails. It starts, runs, and shifts (and burbles like a 2 stroke!). Starts in 2-3 kicks but is a little cold blooded. I am not mechanically inclined but I will do my best to answer any questions you have.  Clear Wisconsin title in my name. Bike is sold AS IS and WHERE IS. If you wish the bike shipped, I would suggest uShip and I will do my best to accommodate (but I cannot help load).
I have done my best to take photos from all angles but if you would like specifics please let me know.
If you use the Buy It Now, I will pay the shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states.

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

The Making of Yamaha VMax Hyper Modified by Roland Sands, Marcus Walz and Ludovic Lazareth [Video]

Mon, 28 Nov 2011

Yamaha Motor Europe asked three of the world’s top builders to work their magic on the company’s flagship power cruiser, the VMax. America’s Roland Sands, Germany’s Marcus Walz and Ludovic Lazareth of France each set to work and create three different interpretations on the Yamaha VMax. These “Hyper Modified” custom Yamaha VMax models were unveiled at Yamaha’s stand at the EICMA show earlier this month, and we placed them at #4 on our Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed list.
