1973 Yamaha RD350

1973 Yamaha RD350.  These high spirited middle weights ruled the roost in the early 1970's. This bike has only 5,848 miles on an all original classic chassis with factory exhaust, new tires and a fresh upper end. Purple was not a factory color but certainly adds to the bikes appeal. Some minor discoloration on rear chrome fender and exhaust pipes possibly from battery fluid with very light pitting on tail light.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.
