Up for auction is an original vintage DS7 made only for one year.  As can be seen from the pictures, this unit is mainly all there, however, it is in need of restoration.  Tank has little rust inside and headlight is broken.  Seat needs replaced or restored.  Bike runs well and all other lights and switches function.  8423 original miles.  Neat, old, 2-stroke bike.  Has crash and sissy bars on the back. Numbers matching.

Wayne Rainey will return to the Misano circuit for the first time since he suffered a career-ending crash that left him paralyzed from the chest down. For two months, the mechanics managed to turn the "ugly duckling" born in 1989 into a masterpiece. A new subframe and seat were made for the motorcycle, a Renthal handlebar and branded CRD controls were installed. The engine has been completely restored, the crankcase covers are sanded and varnished.
