This is a 1970 frame up restoration with no expense spared. The reason it is painted in 1971 color is because i already have 2 1970s and also you dont need blinkers on the 1970 but you do on the 71s. Frame, swingarm, seat pan, tool box ect. all powdercoated. New tires, tubes and stainless steel spokes from buchanans.New paint, seat foam and cover, new cables, handle bars rechromed as well as other parts that required chrome. hubs and engine polished. Engine completely rebuilt. Rebuilt crank, new rod all polished, bored 1 over and all ports cleaned and polished. All new bearings and seals, new mikuni carberator. Mon, 27 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.
